FOXBOROUGH -- Logan Ryan spent four years in the Patriots organization, so he knows first-hand why they are so good and what goes into their success.

Part of that was staying out of the media and not saying things that could be used as bulletin board material, which is not what Kyle Van Noy did ahead of Saturday's Wild Card matchup.

Earlier in the week, Van Noy said the Patriots were about to start a "revenge tour," and it was great to be starting with the Titans, a team that beat them last year. Ryan and the Titans got the last laugh Saturday night as they beat the Patriots, 20-13, to advance to the AFC divisional round.

Afterwards, Ryan spoke his mind about Van Noy and his comments.

“That organization has so much class, so like my guy Kyle Van Noy calling it a revenge tour, just play ball, Kyle," he said to reporters. "Like, I am sure you’re going to see it, but he’s on a revenge tour, why not start with the Titans? ... Tom Brady doesn’t do that. Julian Edelman doesn’t do that. Devin McCourty, Gilly Lock (Stephon Gilmore) doesn’t do that and Kyle Van Noy is running his mouth giving us bulletin board material — the revenge tour.

"Well, the revenge tour ended early. I am still hearing in my group chat about it over there, but Dev (McCourty), Duron (Harmon), JMac (Jason McCourty), I am sorry I have to say it, but Kyle Van Noy has been tripping. His revenge tour ended early, so I hope he enjoys it.”

In addition, Tom Brady's lion hype video caught the eyes of the Titans as they referenced it in the locker room afterwards with several players yelling “hyenas."

This was not the typical Patriots season and it went beyond just the play on the field and having their season end on Wild Card Weekend.
