FOXBORO — There was a Malcolm Mitchell sighting Friday morning at Patriots training camp.
The wide receiver came onto the field with the rest of his teammates and even stretched with them, but then departed for the lower fields with other players rehabbing injuries.
Mitchell reportedly had a knee procedure Monday, which came following a report the Patriots were shopping him.
This certainly is a situation worth monitoring, but him being on the field Friday, even just for a short time, appears to be a positive development for him.
The Georgia product has battled knee injuries his entire career, which included missing all of last year.
