There's been no real indication if Rob Gronkowski will return for 2018, but according to one of his teammates from last year, Patriots fans don't have to worry.
Appearing on Hot 96.9 on Friday morning, linebacker Marquis Flowers said he believes Gronkowski will be back next season.
"Gronk is my guy. Gronk is a competitor, and sometimes after games like that, you kind of sit and have to think about it," Flowers said, via ESPN's Mike Reiss. "I don't know, I haven't talked to [anyone] about this, but Gronk is the ultimate competitor. Gronk is going to come back, and he's going to be the best at his position. Patriots fans have nothing to worry about; that's just me thinking [it]."
It would seem the Patriots would like an indication one way or the other with free agency opening this week, but it doesn't appear the tight end will make some big announcement, as that isn't him.
Flowers, 26, is a free agent after spending one year in New England.
