Following the report of Michael Bennett being traded to the Patriots from the Eagles last Friday, another one followed from ESPN's Adam Schefter saying his brother Martellus would be interested in coming out of retirement and joining him in New England.

It seemed to make some sense given Martellus' experience in New England and the Patriots' need for a tight end, but don't expect it to happen.

Speaking at Princeton University Monday night, Michael called that happening "fake news."

"It'd be great, but, it's probably 'fake news,'" he said of his brother Martellus coming to New England.

What about getting the chance to play for Bill Belichick and the Patriots?

"There's a lot of moving pieces to it ... I get to be with one of the brightest minds in football, ever, with Bill Belichick," he said.
