After a week of rumors and speculation of the Giants job potentially being in play for Matt Patricia, it appears Patricia is destined for Detroit.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Patricia is likely to be the next coach of the Lions.
Pro Football Talk originally reported this last Saturday, but there were reports out of New York all week about the Giants being the favorite.
Detroit is viewed as the best fit for Patricia. The Lions already have a good offensive staff in place and he has a good relationship with general manager Bob Quinn from his time in New England.
