FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots got some good news at practice Thursday, but it is unclear exactly what it means for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
After missing Wednesday with an ankle injury, Mohamed Sanu was present for the media portion, but he did not participate in the first drill, which the media was allowed to see. While it's good that he's on the field, him not participating in drills shows questions remain for his availability Sunday against the Cowboys.
Another injured receiver -- Phillip Dorsett (concussion) -- was present like he was Wednesday and he did participate in the first drill, although he was not wearing shoulder pads. This could suggest he hasn't been cleared for contact and is not out of the concussion protocol. More on his status will be known when the injury report comes out later in the day.
N'Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers are the only two healthy receivers since Julian Edelman (shoulder) was also limited Wednesday.
The Patriots will practice again Friday before Sunday's game with the Cowboys.
