Could the Patriots draft a quarterback high in next week's NFL draft? If Duke quarterback Daniel Jones becomes available, perhaps they will.
According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Patriots have taken a shine to him and he even notes there's a chance they could trade up to get him.
The Patriots currently select at No. 32 overall and it seems likely he won't be around when it is there turn to pick.
Jones doesn't have numbers like some of the other top quarterbacks, but it should be noted his Duke squad didn't have much talent around him.
