Tom Brady knows a thing or two about winning championships, and Rory McIlroy hopes some of his winning rubbed off on him last week.
According to Golf Week, the two played a match together at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. (literally Brady's backyard) against big-time finance man Jimmy Dunne, who is close friends with Brady and several other athletes, and Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
Brady and McIlroy won 7&6 and that apparently was with them losing the first hole.
The Patriots quarterback is friendly with several pro golfers, but this was the first known meeting between he and McIlroy.
