For the first time in a few years, the Patriots didn't have that big of a night at the ESPYs, which were held Wednesday night.
Tom Brady was up for Male Athlete of the Year, but lost out to Alex Ovechkin as he became the first NHL player ever to win the award. Brady was able to take home an ESPY as the NFL's Player of the Year.
The Patriots were somewhat involved in another award, as Nick Foles won Best Championship Performance for leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl LII win.
Other big winners included Jim Kelly taking home the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance as he has been battling cancer for five years, Mike Trout as MLB's best player and the Vikings earning Best Moment for Stefon Diggs' touchdown in the final seconds of the divisional round win over the Saints.
