According to ESPN's Field Yates, new defensive end Michael Bennett was not there either, as he makes his offseason home in Hawaii.
For new players, typically this is a good chance to get familiar with their new organization and teammates, but Bennett has been in the league for so long it's likely not an issue.
It is worth pointing out Phase 1 of the offseason program is strictly strength and conditioning work.
