West Virginia quarterback Will Grier has been connected to the Patriots multiple times this offseason, and perhaps for good reason.

According to Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline, the Patriots have shown a ton of interest in Grier, and could select him with pick No. 32 overall. Other teams who are interested in him are the Giants and Panthers.

Director of player personnel Nick Caserio attended West Virginia's pro day and the Patriots hosted Grier on a top-30 visit.

Last fall, Grier threw for 3,864 yards and 37 touchdowns. In his two seasons as a starter at West Virginia, he threw for 71 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.

It's also worth noting at the combine Grier spoke of how the WVU offense had a number of Patriots elements taken from watching film of their offense.

The Patriots have been connected to a couple of top quarterbacks, but we've seen in the past that could not necessarily mean anything.

Pauline will be on the next episode of the Not Sunday podcast, which will be released later Monday.
