While Bill Belichick is down in Georgia checking out its pro day, a few other key members of the Patriots staff were right up the road from Foxboro at Boston College for its pro day.
According to NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry, Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia, coaching assistant DeMarcus Covington and college scouting coordinator Brian Smith were all present.
Boston College should have a number of players selected and the Patriots could be interested in a few, including edge rusher Zach Allen, offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom, edge rusher Wyatt Ray, tight end Tommy Sweeney and safety Will Harris.
A record seven Eagles attended the NFL combine last month.
