The AFC East will be interesting in 2019.
According to multiple reports, the Jets have hired former Dolphins coach Adam Gase to be their next head coach. Gase was fired following three seasons in South Florida. The hire came a bit out of no where, as it seemed things were trending towards Mike McCarthy.
This came on the same day as former Jets coach Todd Bowles was hired as Tampa Bay's defensive coordinator.
The Dolphins haven't filled their opening and it's been reported Patriots de facto defensive coordinator Brian Flores is high on their list, but there have been no real indications of who is the favorite.
