There are a few players who will be selected in the 2020 NFL draft with Patriots ties, including wide receiver Van Jefferson out of Florida and LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss.

Jefferson is the son of former Patriots receiver Shawn, and Moss is of course the son of Randy.

Coincidentally, during medical evaluations at the NFL Combine this week it was found that both players need surgeries to correct Jones fractures in their feet. NFL Media reported Moss's injury, while ESPN was first on Jefferson.

The recovery time is 6-8 weeks, so it should not impact anything related to their rookie seasons.

Both are expected to be mid-round selections and could be on the Patriots' radar, especially Moss given their need at tight end.
