It does not appear Phillip Dorsett will be returning to New England.
According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the Jets, Seahawks, Chargers, 49ers and Raiders are among the teams who have showed early interest in the wide receiver.
"I just want to come in and have a great opportunity to play and showcase how I can really flourish as a player," Dorsett said to Anderson.
Given the number of teams showing interest, it doesn't feel like the Patriots will extend themselves and get into a bidding war. Dorsett just couldn't seem break out in New England despite a few chances to do so.
In three seasons with the Patriots, Dorsett totaled 73 catches for 881 yards and eight touchdowns. Last year, in 14 games, he recorded 29 catches for 397 yards and five touchdowns.
