The Patriots are currently seeking tight ends, but one of the best available is off the board.
According to multiple reports, Austin Hooper, formerly of Atlanta, has agreed to sign with the Browns. NFL Media adds he will become the highest paid tight end in the league.
Hooper is coming off the best season in his four year career, as he hauled in 75 passes for 787 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games last year.
Cleveland might be a great landing spot for him given the talent it has at wide receiver, so he won't command top attention each and every week.
