After Chad O'Shea was let go following just a year in Miami, many thought he would return to New England and replace Joe Judge as wide receivers coach.
Not so fast.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, O'Shea has been hired by the Browns as their new wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. The long-time assistant will work under new Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski.
Meanwhile, the Patriots do not have an obvious in-house candidate besides maybe Troy Brown to replace Judge as wide receivers coach. A name to keep an eye on could be recently fired Eagles offensive coordinator Mike Groh.
There's really no rush for the Patriots do make this hire.
