Linebacker Kyle Van Noy is one of many Patriots free agents to-be, and he's already generating some interest from other teams.
According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, the Giants have an interest in Van Noy, and it may be mutual as well.
This does not come as much of a surprise, as new head coach Joe Judge knows Van Noy well from his time in New England. This could benefit Van Noy since Judge has a rough idea of how to use him best. The linebacker was not used properly in Detroit, but Van Noy was able to make a name for himself over the last few years with the Patriots.
In 81 career games, Van Noy has recorded 289 tackles, 10 passes defensed, two interceptions, five forced fumbles and 17.5 sacks, including a career-high 6.5 sacks last season.
