Josh Gordon is no longer a member of the Patriots.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the team will release Gordon (knee) off injured reserve. The wide receiver was placed on IR last week, but with his release it says he's now fully healthy.
Since the trade deadline has passed, Gordon will go through waivers. He doesn't automatically become a free agent. It appears he will go on waivers beginning at 4 p.m., so teams have 24 hours to put in claims. If he does not get claimed, he will become a free agent.
In six games with the Patriots this season, Gordon had 20 receptions for 287 yards and a touchdown.
