Another year, another team interested in Josh McDaniels.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Panthers are interested in interviewing the Patriots' offensive coordinator to replace Ron Rivera, who was fired last month. The report adds the Panthers have already interviewed Mike McCarthy twice and plan on speaking to Baylor coach Matt Rhule.
General manager Marty Hurney is said to be heavily involved in the interview process.
It's unclear what McDaniels' plans are and if he would be interested in leaving New England. He's turned down multiple opportunities in recent years.
