The Patriots are adding a player before the NFL Draft Thursday night.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the team has signed wide receiver Marqise Lee to a one-year deal after he was released by the Jaguars earlier this week.

The 28-year-old has spent all five of his NFL seasons with Jacksonville and had his best season in 2016 when he finished with 63 catches for 851 yards and three touchdowns.

He comes with injury concerns, though. The 6-foot wide out missed all of 2018 due to a knee injury suffered in the third preseason game and then last year was placed on injured reserve in October due to a knee injury. He played in just six games and had three catches.

If healthy, Lee seems like a player who can contribute, but given the last few years that is a major question.

Lee, a 2014 second-round pick, will be given every opportunity to make the 53-man roster and has the potential to be a solid signing if he can stay on the field.
