The Patriots are doing their due diligence on all kinds of quarterbacks before the NFL draft -- potential first-rounders to potential late-rounders.
Appearing on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Wednesday, Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White said he met privately with Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio before his pro day. The two watched film together and White said it was one of the better interviews he had because of how much fun it was.
White is expected to be a late-round selection and is known for throwing the deep ball. He's also primarily a pocket passer.
The QB passed for over 4,000 yards in his junior and senior seasons at the school.
