Patriots could be down a cornerback vs. Bills

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots could be without one of the cornerbacks Saturday against the Bills.

Slot corner Jonathan Jones was not present for the start of Patriots practice for the second straight day on Wednesday. He injured his groin against the Bengals last week. If he can not play, Jason McCourty then becomes the slot cornerback, as long as he's healthy. He's missed two of the last three games with a groin injury, as well.

Rookie Joejuan Williams could factor into things as well.

Meanwhile, Julian Edelman and Tom Brady were present for a second straight day.

The Patriots will practice again Thursday before hosting the Bills on Saturday.
