Fan voting for the 2020 Pro Bowl has wrapped up and the Patriots did not have a single player lead their respective positions.
After leading the punters and special teamers the last several updates, Jake Bailey and Matthew Slater were bumped out with the final results. Punter Brett Kern (Titans) received the most votes for punters in the AFC and Tyler Matakevich (Steelers) received the most special teams votes.
Other players who deserved consideration for the Patriots were: Stephon Gilmore, Jamie Collins, Kyle Van Noy and Devin McCourty. Gilmore, who has a legitimate chance at winning Defensive Player of the Year, was beat out at cornerback by Marcus Peters of the Ravens.
Lamar Jackson led the voting with Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, Dalvin Cook and Christian McCaffery rounding out the top-five.
Fan votes are just a piece of the puzzle with the players and coaches also having a say. The teams will be officially announced Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on NFL Network.
