FOXBOROUGH -- The following Patriots players are inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns: tight end Ryan Izzo, tight end Matt LaCosse, offensive lineman Shaq Mason, cornerback Joejuan Williams, defensive tackle Byron Cowart and running back Damien Harris.
Since the Patriots only have 52 players on the active roster, only six needed to be made inactive.
Izzo and LaCosse were already ruled out, while Mason was questionable with a knee injury. Harris, Williams and Cowart are healthy inactives.
With Mason out, it could mean James Ferentz will get the start at right guard. Harris seemed to have some momentum following his 12 yards in garbage time, but he's inactive once again.
Rex Burkhead will return following missing three straight games, while Patrick Chung will also return after missing last week.
The Patriots are also carrying an extra lineman in Korey Cunningham. Given the weather, do not be surprised to see multiple linemen to see time and players rotating in and out. It could be a big day for the Patriots' running game.
Mohamed Sanu will make his Patriots debut after being traded for last Tuesday.
