FOXBORO -- At No. 51 overall, the Patriots made their second trade of the night.

According to reports, New England traded the pick to the Bears in exchange for a 2019 second-round pick and also the Bears' selection at the top of the fourth round, No. 105 overall.

This means the compensation for Jimmy Garoppolo will not be finalized until next year, as the Patriots got pick No. 51 by trading away the pick they got from San Fran (No. 43 overall).

It seems Bill Belichick has no use for this section of the draft and believes he can get close to the same talent in the fourth round.

The Patriots now will select next at No. 63 overall and then have two fourths, a fifth, two sixths and a seventh.
