J.C. Jackson joins list of players not present at minicamp

FOXBORO — The following Patriots players were not present at the final day of mandatory minicamp: safety Patrick Chung, running back Sony Michel, cornerback J.C. Jackson, safety Nate Ebner, offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste, running back Nick Brossette, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr.

In addition, defensive back Malik Gant left the field during stretching and did not return.

Jackson was the headline name as he was present at the previous two days of workouts. Michel was also missing, which is the fourth straight session he's missed that the media has been present for.

The mandatory minicamp portion of the offseason is over. There are two OTAs left next week, with Monday's being open to the media.
