Apparently, the Patriots liked what they saw as they have reportedly signed both receivers they brought in for visits on Thursday.
After reportedly signing Bruce Ellington, they have also signed Maurice Harris, this according to NFL Media's Mike Garafolo.
Harris, who primarily plays out of the slot at 6-foot-3, spent his first three years in the league with Washington. His best year came last year when he finished with 28 receptions for 304 yards, including a 10-catch, 124-yard performance against the Falcons.
The 26-year-old looks like someone who can provide some depth at the position, which the Patriots certainly need.
As of Thursday, the team has Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, Matthew Slater, Ellington, Harris, Braxton Berrios and Damoun Patterson currently signed at wide receiver for next season.
