With the Patriots hosting rookie minicamp this weekend at Gillette Stadium, it seemed like it was a good time to sign a number of rookies.
The team officially signed 15 rookies Friday, including six of their nine draft picks.
The draft picks that were signed include fifth-round pick linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley, sixth-round picks linebacker Christian Sam and wide receiver Braxton Berrios, and seventh-round picks quarterback Danny Etling, defensive back Keion Crossen and tight end Ryan Izzo. The top three draft picks in offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn, running back Sony Michel and cornerback Duke Dawson all remain unsigned.
In addition, the Patriots signed nine undrafted free agents. They are as follows:
Darren Andrews, WR, UCLA
John Atkins, DL, Georgia
Trent Harris, DL, Miami
Frank Herron, DL, Louisiana State
J.C. Jackson, DB, Maryland
Chris Lacy, WR, Oklahoma State
A.J. Moore, DB, Mississippi
