When Tom Brady announced earlier in the week he was leaving the Patriots, owner Robert Kraft made the media rounds and talked to a number of different outlets.
Kraft's message seemed to be that Brady was the one that wanted to leave and if he wanted to stay something would have been worked out.
When speaking to NFL Media's Mike Giardi, Kraft made an interesting analogy.
"Think about loving your wife and for whatever reason, there’s something - her father or mother - that makes life impossible for you and you have to move on but you don’t want to," he said.
One would suspect Kraft was referring to Bill Belichick since it's been well documented Brady has not felt appreciated the last several years and how difficult he is to play for, along with not getting a contract he's desired the last several years.
Another outside-the-box theory could be he was referring to Gisele Bunchden, and maybe she was the one that forced Brady out of New England.
