Late in the second quarter of Sunday's Patriots-Chiefs game, NBC audio picked up Tom Brady telling Rob Gronkowski to "stand up," and then the clip went viral.
Monday morning on Kirk & Callahan, Brady explained the reasoning behind it.
"The formation was for him to be in a stance, but based on something I saw, I just wanted him to make sure he had good body presence on (Dee) Ford," Brady said. "Ford was just screaming off the edge most of the night."
