The Patriots have brought back another core special teamer.
After re-signing Brandon Bolden a few weeks ago, on Thursday they re-signed Brandon King to a two-year deal. He was scheduled to be a restricted free agent this offseason.
The contract has been filed with the NFLPA and has base salaries of $775,000 in 2018 and $925,000 in 2019.
Other core special teamers Matthew Slater and Nate Ebner are still free agents and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the team re-sign one of or both before free agency kicks off next week.
