After the Patriots watched the rest of the league go crazy on Tuesday, they finally made a move of their own -- a small and expected one.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots and Nate Ebner have agreed on a two-year deal.
Although not a big signing, Ebner is one of the most important special teams players on the roster and thus a valuable member of the team.
The 29-year-old is coming off a severe knee injury suffered this past season and played in just nine games.
Ebner has spent all six years of his NFL career with the Patriots.
