A few weeks ago, it was learned the Patriots were hosting Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk, who is expected to be selected in the first round, for a visit.

And now, it looks like they have met with another top wide out -- SMU's Courtland Sutton.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Patriots are among the teams who have got private time with Sutton. Other teams include the Eagles, Bears, Saints and Cowboys.

He's expected to be a second-round selection.

In 13 games last season, he caught 68 passes for 1,085 yards and 12 touchdowns. For his career, he finished with 195 receptions for 3,220 yards and 31 touchdowns.

The Patriots have two selections in the first round (Nos. 23 and 31), so they could potentially be interested in him, but it feels like they have more pressing needs to address.
