It seems likely the Patriots will be drafting a quarterback in this month's draft, but the question is who and in which part of the draft.
Maybe it's as high as the middle of the first round as the team apparently has a lot of interest in Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield.
According to the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta, the Patriots have an affinity for Mayfield.
Mayfield is expected to be selected in the middle of the first round so if the Patriots do select him it may require them trading up, which they can do with all the first and second-round picks that they have.
The Patriots are looking to replace Jimmy Garoppolo and eventually find the successor to Tom Brady.
