There's a kicking competition in Foxborough.
On Monday, the team officially signed veteran kicker Nick Folk, which means he will be competing with rookie Justin Rohrwasser, who was selected in the fifth round. In addition, defensive tackle Michael Barnett was also signed.
Both players were on the field Monday and the roster appears to be at 80 players at the moment.
The 35-year-old Folk played in seven games for the Patriots last season and made 14-of-17 field goals and all 12 extra points. In the postseason, Folk made two field goals and converted on his only extra point attempt.
Barnett played in 46 games over four seasons at Georgia from 2015-19 and registered 47 tackles and two passes defensed.
