The Patriots made a number of roster moves on Monday.

First, running back Kenjon Barner was signed back to the 53-man roster after being released prior to last Thursday's game. Barner takes the place of Cyrus Jones, who was released Saturday. Jones was claimed off waivers by the Ravens, the team Jones was with after being released by the Patriots at the end of training camp. The Patriots now have three running backs again in James White, Sony Michel and Barner.

In addition, the team made several moves to its practice squad.

Running back Ralph Webb and defensive tackle Vincent Valentine were released, and as corresponding moves defensive tackle Frank Herron and linebacker Calvin Munson were added.

Herron spent the summer with the Patriots, while Munson played in 14 games with the Giants last year finishing with 35 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble. He was released by New York at the end of training camp, but spent some time on the practice squad.
