FOXBORO -- There were three mystery players at Patriots practice Monday, and after media access in the locker room we know who they are.

The Patriots have signed wide receiver K.J. Maye along with running backs Khalfani Muhammad and Kenneth Farrow.

Maye is familiar to the organization as he was with the team last summer before being waived on Sept. 2. He did not play for any other NFL team last season. Muhammad, a small running back, was a seventh-round selection by the Titans last year out of California, but spent the majority of the year on the practice squad. Farrow has the most NFL experience as he finished with 60 carries for 192 yards, while adding 13 catches as a rookie with the Chargers in 2016. He spent all of last year on injured reserve before being released this past April.

Don't be surprised if these three players get a lot of playing time Thursday night against the Giants.
