Even though the Patriots were off on Tuesday, it didn't stop them from making moves.
According to multiple reports, the team has signed offensive tackle Martez Ivey. This came following the team waiving offensive lineman Cole Croston with a non-football injury designation. Croston has been with the team for two seasons and has played in five games. He hasn't participated in any practices this summer, as he was on PUP.
Ivey is an undrafted rookie out of Florida where he started all 13 games last season and was named to the SEC second-team.
This continues the theme of the summer for the Patriots as it's been a revolving door on the offensive line, including three players retiring since May.
Over the next week-plus, this will be a major focus of the team.
