FOXBORO -- The Patriots are down another offensive lineman.
According to ESPN's Field Yates, J.J. Dielman has decided to retire after a few days with the team.
He was signed late last week following brief stints with the Bengals, Rams, Broncos and Seahawks. This is the third offensive lineman to retire since May, as Jared Veldheer and Brian Schwenke retired prior to Dielman.
The veteran didn't really have much of a shot of making the team as he was seeing time working with only the backups.
