FOXBORO -- Marcus Cannon has apparently tweaked his contract.
According to NFL Media's Michael Silver, the Patriots have restructured Cannon's contract guaranteeing $4.5 million of his 2019 salary. In addition, the Patriots have added incentives that could boost the total value of his deal, which runs through the end of the 2021 season, to $24 million.
Cannon has been a very valuable member of the Patriots offensive line, having started 54 regular season games, including 13 last season.
He was a second-team All-Pro in 2016.
