The list keeps on growing.
Accordng to ESPN's Mike Reiss, Patrick Chung is also opting out of the 2020 NFL season. He's the sixth Patriots player in the last two days to make that decision.
Chung, 32, was entering his 12th NFL season and had expressed some concerns via social media last week of the league being able to play the game while being socially distant.
Adrian Phillips, Kyle Dugger, and Terrence Brooks will now likely see their roles expand at the safety position.
Patriots players are reporting early this week for COVID-19 tests.
Other players to opt out so far are Dont'a Hightower, Marcus Cannon, Dan Vitale, Najee Toran and Brandon Bolden.
