The Patriots have not officially named their coaching staff for 2020, but almost all of the staff is known, and now at least one coaching assistant.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the organization has hired Tyler Hughes.
Most recently, Hughes was the head coach at Bountiful High School in Utah, but stepped down earlier this year. He has also served as the head coach at Minot State University and Snow College. In addition, he was a quality control coach with Urban Meyer at Ohio State, which is likely where the connection to Bill Belichick came.
Other new additions to the staff from the offseason include Jedd Fisch (offense) Joe Houston (special teams) and Vinnie Sunseri (special teams).
Hughes is from Salt Lake City and went to Utah State.
