The Patriots appear to be getting help on the offensive line this week with the return of Isaiah Wynn from injured reserve, but in order for that to happen the team needs to make a corresponding move to get him onto the roster.

That appears to involve wide receiver/punt returner Gunner Olszewski.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the team plans on placing Olszewski (ankle/hamstring) on injured reserve after he's missed the last two games. The undrafted rookie was the team's primary punt returner, but Mohamed Sanu has taken over that role the last two weeks.

[UPDATE: 5 p.m.>: The moves have been made official.

Olszewski doesn't have much of a role as a receiver, either.

The Patriots will practice for the first time this week Wednesday as it prepares for the Cowboys this coming Sunday.
