The Patriots upgraded their special teams in a big way on Tuesday.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the team has signed three-time Pro Bowler Justin Bethel. The 29-year-old was recently released by the Ravens, but he's most known for his time in Arizona from 2012-17.
He was released by the Ravens not due to his play, but rather the move got the team a compensatory pick.
Bethel made the Pro Bowl from 2013-15 and was a first-team All-Pro in 2013 and 2015.
ESPN's Field Yates adds the team is releasing Jordan Richards as the corresponding move.
