The Patriots apparently really value offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots gave up a fourth-round pick to acquire Eluemunor and a sixth-round pick from the Ravens in a trade Wednesday. A fourth-round pick is far from a throwaway pick and it shows their commitment to the versatile offensive lineman.
Eluemunor has experience at both guard and tackle, which is valuable for the Patriots with so many questions on the offensive line.
Baltimore's fifth-round selection in 2017 has had some issues with staying in shape and not amounting to what the team had hoped. Perhaps, a change of scenery could be the best thing for him, like was the case last year with Trent Brown.
Eluemunor is a lock to make the roster and likely will be the Patriots' top backup lineman.
