Tight end continues to be an issue for the Patriots this season.
Matt LaCosse (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday night's game against the Ravens. He practiced for the first time all week on a limited basis after missing the last several weeks entirely, but ultimately it wasn't enough to suit up for the game.
The veteran suffered the injury against the Giants in Week 6.
After releasing Eric Tomlinson earlier in the week, the team is left with just Benjamin Watson and Ryan Izzo at the position. Izzo is questionable with a concussion.
