FOXBORO -- The Patriots had perfect attendance at practice for the first time in several weeks on Thursday, but that came to an end a day later.

Defensive end Trey Flowers was missing from the start of practice Friday. It's unknown what the issue is since he hasn't been listed on the injury report all week. Flowers did miss Week 3 against the Lions with a concussion suffered against the Jaguars.

He's been an important piece to the defense, as the unit is allowing 3.83 yards per rushing play when he's on the field, compared to 4.41 yards per rushing play when he's not on the field.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, both of whom were limited Thursday, were present.

The final injury report, with game designations, will come out later in the afternoon.
