It is still almost two weeks away, but the initial reports appear good for Rob Gronkowski to play in Super Bowl LII.
Gronkowski suffered a head injury at the end of the first half in the AFC championship and was ruled out of the game early on in the second half.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, there are "positive vibes regarding his status for the Super Bowl."
When speaking on Monday, Matthew Slater said the tight end was in "good spirits" when they spoke.
The Patriots will not be practicing Wednesday, so the first chance to see Gronkowski potentially on the practice field will come Thursday.
