There are two cases of coronavirus in Westerly, Rhode Island and one of them may have come from one of the two Jazz players who tested positive and played against the Celtics last week.
According to Westerly police chief Shawn Lacey, via the Providence Journal, one of the cases was a student who recently came back from a trip from the Bahamas, while the other received an autograph from a player on the Jazz who tested positive this week.
The Jazz played the Celtics last Friday at TD Garden and players Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have since tested positive. Lacey did not indicate which player it was.
Like all other professional sports, the NBA has suspended its season indefinitely.
